A Whole Bunch of Cards

I guess I lied about posting everyday. Oops! Can you forgive me? I have a bunch of cards today, all using the K&Co. Amy Butler Lotus 12x12 Tea Box Specialty Paper Pad. Boy that's a mouthful! I had a bunch of card bases that had been stamped on and were never used. I wanted to keep them all pretty quick and easy, letting the paper shine.
This one has some Sweet Blush ribbon and the "Thanks" is from a Studio G: Ditto cling set called Bring on the Cake. I used this set in a few other cards as well.
This one has a few more embellishments since the paper isn't *quite* as loud. The dress form was embossed using a Tim Holtz woodgrain embossing folder. The purpley inking around the edges of the card base and the spiral notebook page is Velvet Pigment Ink from Colorbox. I used Seaglass Pigment Ink from Colorbox on the raised area of the dress form, as well as on the Vintage Cream sentiment strip. It's an exact match to Aqua Mist. The edges of the dress form are inked with Dune Pigment Ink. All of those inks can be found in the Colorbox Petal Point in Mosaic.
Next up! These are really simple.
I used the same technique for the Aqua Mist layer as I did for the dress form in the last card. First, two Mat Stack 5 die cuts, then the woodgrain embossing folder, then the Seaglass ink on the raised surface and some Dune ink around the edges. The little Thank You is from Tiny Tags (so is the actual tag!).
The edges of the card base are inked with the Velvet pigment ink as well. The ribbon is Hibiscus Burst 3/8" twill.
The last card is another Thank You. I never seem to have any!
Spring Rain for the die cut, using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for the definition. The ribbon is Spring Moss 5/8" Grosgrain.
I hope you enjoyed today's cards, and I promise to post more frequently! As always, feedback is greatly appreciated, and I would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have!

Thinking of You (times two)

Happy Wednesday! I've been trying to post everyday, but it's been a busy few days. Anyways, I'm back, and I'm going to try and update my blog at least 6 days of the week. Are you ready for it?

To start off today's post, I have a pretty simple card. There's not much to it, just a few die cuts, some stamping and embossing, and some ribbon.

And since it's Thinking of You (times two), I have another Thinking of You card.

I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out.

That's all for today! Thanks so much for visiting, and as always, if you want to know anything about the supplies I used on today's cards, just ask!

A Few Cards

Good Morning! Happy Friday! I have a few cards to share with you today, and I hope you like them!

First up, a super quick and easy one that I think I may more of. It was inspired by a challenge, but I never got it posted in time. It's just been sitting around waiting to be blogged.

Next is a card I made for my "adopted grandmother" for her birthday. I can talk to her about everything, and I am so grateful to have her in my life.

Last for today is a set of cards I made as her actual birthday gift. I wish I had pictures of all of them together, but sadly, I only have one.

That's all of the cards for today folks, I hope you liked them! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Celebrate Gift Card Holder

I have been making a ton of gift card holders lately, so I figured I would share one with you all. I used the Road Trip patterned paper on this one, as well as the postage stamp from the Road Trip stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday

I think I may have found my new favorite color combo ever! Love love love love love love! I challenged myself to use some of the stuff in my stash that has hardly been used since I started buying PTI. I was reorganizing my office and I spotted that present stamp. It's from Michael's dollar spot section. I got it quite a while ago, and I don't think I had ever used it! The purple layer that is behind the strip of Vintage Cream with the presents on it is actually transparency with tissue paper I made using this technique.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed today's card!

Tons Of Fun Birthday Gift Set

Today I have a Gift Set that incorporates the same colors, papers, die cuts, etc. There is a birthday card, a gift card holder, and a tag. Berry Sorbet is the main color, and the papers come from DCWV Animal Crackers mat stack.
I plan on selling them as a set, but I can't seem to find a way to package them together! If you have any ideas, please let me know! If you want to know more about what I used, don't hesitate to ask!

Wishing You A Lovely Day

I have no idea how I lived for so long with out my Big Shot. Lately I have been using die cuts on *everything*! Heaven! It's amazing how much the quality of the products you use is reflected in your creations. It makes it look so much more professional.
I've been trying to give some love to a few of my ever-so-slightly neglected stamp sets.

I have been loving the super layered cards with lots of varying die cuts and materials. I swear, the edges of the fabric piece didn't look like that before I photographed this card! Don't you hate it when everything looks nice and clean and then it never looks like that in the picture? =(

Hope you enjoyed today's card! I have lots more on the way!

Thinking of You

Just a quick post for today; I'm typing with one hand. I recently just received PTI's Up,Up, and Away stamp set and I *really* wanted to use it. My grandma is in a rehab center trying to build up some strength and I wanted to make her a bright and cheerful card.

If you would like to know anything that was used, please ask! As always, feedback is welcome!

Graduation

Hi All! A close friend is graduating from high school and I wanted to make her something special. =)

I used a bunch of different stamp set in this card. The bottom portion of the background I created myself using stamps from Fillable Frames #3 and Tag-Its #4. The star is from It's Official.
See that shiny zig-zag line? I wish it wasn't there. There was a noticeable seam between the bottom part of the background and the polka dots, so I grabbed a glitter pen... anyways, I ended up changing the design and I didn't want to start over. Lazy, I know. ;)
Lots of dimensional adhesive used in this card. =)

Just a quick post today; I have to get back to my studies. Summer can not get here fast enough.

Graditude For All You Do

 Hello!

I wanted to make a card that would be good to give to a teacher. Lately I have been absolutely in love with the combination of Pure Poppy, Aqua Mist, and Hawaiian Shores.

I began by stamping by card base in Versamark ink, using Background Basics: Chevron Stripes. I then stamped a 2" x 4 1/4" piece of Aqua Mist with the largest polka dots from Polka Dot Basics II. I used Versamark for this too.

I wanted to add a pocket for money, gift cards, etc. I didn't want to add another bright color, so I went for my new favorite neutral, Rustic Cream. I used the Library Card and stamped it in Barn Door Distress Ink in the center top of a piece of cardstock measuring 3 3/4" x 5 7/8". After I stamped it, I then scored it to make a pocket. I rounded the corners of the pieces that fold in, just to make it a little more finished. *

The ruler is found in the It's Official stamp set. I used Barn Door Distress Ink again, this time on Kraft cardstock. To attach the ruler, I used Score Tape on the ends, placed the pocket where I wanted it and then positioned the ruler over it.

For the main piece, I used the banner from Ad Sense. Stamped it on Pure Poppy cardstock, heat embossed with clear embossing powder, and trimmed it out with scissors. To make the Aqua Mist layer, I stamped the banner again, then cut around the inner line. The "Gratitude" and "for all you do" sentiments are also from Ad Sense. I stamped them using Broken China Distress Ink. The star image is from Ad Sense as well.

I then stamped the "Limited Edition" stamp on Rustic Cream cardstock, using Barn Door Distress Ink. It is punched with a 3/4" circle punch. The Pure Poppy piece, and the "Limited Edition" piece are popped up with dimensional adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed today's card! Feedback is appreciated!

Teacher Appreciation

It's teacher appreciation week at my school, and everyone was invited to create a power point slide showing thanks. Well, I didn't want to make a run-of-the-mill slide, I wanted to add more "me" to it.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
